PeaceHealth has a new opening for a System Vice President of Organizational Integrity
PeaceHealth is delighted to present an opportunity for a System Vice President, Organizational Integrity who will be responsible for building and maintaining a system culture where ethical and compliant behavior is practiced, adequate internal controls are maintained, and the organization is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you work in collaboration with dynamic and mission-driven senior leadership throughout the organization to implement the strategies and standards which support the Organizational Integrity Plan (OIP) to promote a culture consistent with the PeaceHealth Mission, Core Values, and Code of Conduct.
Located in the Pacific Northwest, this leadership role is an integral member of the administration team, offering support and guidance across our multi-site health care system including locations in OR, WA, AK.
The successful candidate skills include:
Develops the structure and processes to foster open lines of communication, assuring appropriate individuals are informed on critical issues and concerns relating to compliance activities and procedures. Assures systems are in place to maintain an accounting of all compliance audits being conducted, both internally and externally, throughout the system.
Leads the development and implementation of the OIP, compliance strategies, and integrity programs. Consults and provides advice to the senior leadership team on matters of healthcare compliance, regulatory requirements, and ethical business practices.
Reports and provides recommendations to the senior leadership team based on annual compliance and risk-based assessments, internal audit program work plans, monitoring of internal compliance trends, national information, and other sources as appropriate.
Bachelor's degree in health, business, or related education required.
Master's degree or a combination of education and professional experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job required.
Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in the organizational integrity arena required.
Minimum of ten years management experience required.
Significant experience and understanding of the health care industry, with specific ethics / compliance program experience, legal, or risk experience.
Certification in Health Care Compliance or comparable certification
