The Admission Associate will assist the Director/Supervisors by providing the highest level of customer service and support to referral agencies and internal Departments to facilitate access to treatment. Duties shall include, but not limited to, providing supportive contact with patients and families; Responsible for accurate and timely documentation; Coordinating with referral agencies in facilitating step down/direct transfers admissions to both our inpatient and/or outpatient continuum of care; Providing excellent communication skills in fielding inquiry calls and/or referral information; Completing the clerical process for inpatient and outpatient admissions by obtaining signatures on forms, admitting into MS4, and escorting patients to the unit. Additionally assists with the safety checks, the wanding and securing of belongings, and Q-15. Provides a smooth entry into the facility by assisting with the admission process.
