DUTIES:
The Cardiologist will participate in inpatient and outpatient quality care, teaching, and research related to cardiovascular diseases. He/she will apply national and VA guidelines to patient screening, surveillance and management of such diseases. In addition to coronary interventions, the candidate must have training and be proficient in peripheral vascular interventions. The candidate will be heavily involved in research activities within the section, and therefore a strong research background in highly desirable. He/she will also participate in the education and supervision of trainees. A successful candidate must qualify for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

WORK SCHEDULE: FULL TIME - 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

KEY REQUIREMENTS


    • U.S. Citizenship required

    • May be subject to a background/suitability investigation.

    • Designated and/or random drug testing may be required.

    • May be required to complete a pre-employment physical exam.

    • Licensure/Certification required
