Providence is calling an Administrative Assistant (1.0 FTE, Days)to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and secretarial support for the Director of Acute Care & Nursing Support, the Manager of CCU/PCU/Medical, and two assistant managers and other support staff reporting to these leaders. You will provide reception, telephone support, and vacation/backup coverage for the Administration/Executive Office as needed.
In this position you will:
Create a friendly and cooperative atmosphere for visitors, hospital personnel and medical staff members.
Respond to inquiries; maintain documents, patient files and data base records.
Type correspondence and other material.
Arrange meetings and appointments.
Requiredqualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years previous administrative/secretarial experience required
Exceptional customer service skills
Demonstrates proficiency in computer programs and applications
Preferredqualifications for this position include:
Post high school education in secretarial-related classes
One year experience in a hospital or health care setting preferred
