Newport News Behavioral Health Center is a residential and acuteÂ program, for males and females ages 11-21, consist of a cognitive behavioral treatment model that encourages youth to safely explore thoughts and feelings related to the development of positive and desirable behavior within their homes and communities. Our programs have been designed to provide each individual resident quality mental health treatment in a safe therapeutic environment. Newport News Behavioral Health Center has an excellent career opportunity for aÂ Director of AdmissionsÂ to join our team of dedicated professionals.Â The Admissions Director supports the purpose and procedure of the entire admission process for the residential and acute program. Creates and maintains department procedures in the following areas: daily census records, inquiry calls and referral phone log, and ensures that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all patient needs. Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with referral sources. Responsible for reporting all aspects of service delivery to the Administrator.
