We are recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our Kindred Rehabilitation Services, Direct Bill Department in St. Louis, Missouri.
Summary:
This position is responsible for billing and collecting for revenue generated from the Direct Bill Department to assure DSO's, gross cash recovery, and accounts receivable remain in target goal.
Essential Functions:
Process and handle billing questions from patients, guarantors and field staff.
Handle claims corrections and insurance appeals
Process all paper claims, primary, secondary and tertiary and rebilled claims.
Process incoming claims correspondence.
Process refunds.
Work aging in assigned AR buckets.
Handle ADR requests from assigned agencies.
Handle special projects as assigned.
Other related duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Medical billing
Customer service
Billing software
CPT and ICD 10 coding
Excel and Word
Medicare's DDE system
#MON-CORP
High school diploma
2+ years of experience in medical billing
