As the Section of Palliative Medicine and Hospice we are a part of the fabric of care at LVHN, with a fully integrated palliative care continuum to assure optimal patient experience. Education is part of our culture as we have 2 ACGME Fellows per year that interface with our entire team. Our specialty-trained palliative care team, including MD’s, CRNP’s, Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselor, RN’s and administrative staff care for patients when they are in the hospital, in our office-based practice, or in our nationally-recognized home-based service. Our hospice staff is second to none, caring for a growing census as we branch into new markets.
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a physician who is board certified or eligible, ideally with 2 years’ experience. The ideal candidate will be a network champion for hospice and palliative medicine while demonstrating a passion for the clinical work. This full time position will have responsibilities in our palliative medicine consult service, while being part of the larger LVHN palliative care team. As a representative of palliative care locally, regionally and nationally, the successful candidate will demonstrate interest in education and learning, participate in the development of palliative care as a specialty and value team-based care.
