Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene is currently seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join our collegial and community-centered pediatric practice. This is a full time position that offers you a 4-day workweek with a call ratio of 1:6 that includes 1 in 6 weekends. Call responsibilities includes newborn hospital rounding, attending deliveries, and low acuity pediatric admissions. Cheshire Medical Center delivers about 400 babies per year and has 35 to 50 pediatric admissions per year. We have 24/7 phone nurse triage. Outpatient office hours are 8am to 5pm on weekdays and 10am to 12pm on Saturday mornings (which is covered by the on call pediatrician). Pediatrics at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene consists of a comprehensive team including a 6 Pediatricians, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, a Pediatric/Adolescent Psychiatrist, lactation consultants, RN care coordinators, and behavioral health support. In addition, onsite we offer access to various specialties and services including: Audiology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Allergy, Women’s Health, Radiology, full service lab / pathology, Emergency Department, Respiratory Therapy, Walk In Care Center, Physical / Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Nutritionists, Psychologist and Social Workers. We have strong ties with Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) and Geisel (Dartmouth) School of Medicine. We collaborate on best practices with the CHaD primary care groups across communities in NH. We have access to pediatric sub-specialists at CHaD including a shared EPIC medical record and E Consults for all pediatric sub-specialists. Qualifications: - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics
