Greater Hudson Valley Health System Medical Group is looking for Associate Program Director for Hospitalist Medicine to join the team. The Associate Program Director of Hospitalist Service is responsible for oversight of team performance of the hospitalist team. He/she assists program director with all leadership duties. This position involves both administrative duties as APD and clinical duties as Hospitalist provide. The Hospitalist Physician is responsible for overseeing the in-patients assigned of The Greater Hudson Valley Health System Medical Group. The Hospitalist Physician is a part of the interdisciplinary team to improve efficiency and facilitate continuum of care for patients from admission to discharge. This continuum of care includes general adult medicine, internal medicine consults as requested, and management of patients with various comorbidities. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Hospitalist will carry out assigned duties displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conducts as well as acting in the best interest of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System Medical Group, supporting our mission, vision and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients. The position is responsible for the clinical excellence of In Patient care services and for assisting in the development of programs aimed at meeting quality measures and population health management requirements.
