Position will work at least two days/week at Holy Cross Hospital in Nogales, Arizona and at least two days/week in our Tucson Carondelet hospitals.
Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas.
Assists management with routine employee relations and/or labor relations as well as performance issues.
Collects and analyzes Human Resources data, and prepares recommendations for management.
Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
Assists with administration of periodic Human Resources programs.
Serves as a business partner at an experienced level to a variety of Carondelet Health Network service lines.Understands the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner by aligning the right solutions, ideas, skills and people with the needs of the business.
Develops and maintains programs/procedures, drafting supporting policies.Participates in planning and implementing quality improvement as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives.Assists the Manager/Director as requested in review and update of department functions and procedure revisions.
Ensures that organizational processes and relationships are fair and equitable.
Educates management and associates on HR policies, processes and practices to ensure effective execution and compliance.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Certification Preferred: PHR or SPHR Certification.
EDUCATION: Required: Associates in Business Administration, or related discipline.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Required: Three (3) years of HR Generalist experience; 5 years preferred.
Preferred: Experience in a healthcare or Fortune 100 Company
