- Responsibilities include assessing critically ill neonates, attending high-risk deliveries and seeing well-newborns in collaboration with a neonatologist
- High-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide services are provided and a broad range of sub-specialists are available
- 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
