| Transports patients to and from all areas of the hospital via stretcher or wheelchair.
Transports various items/equipment throughout the hospital according to departmental policies and protocols (bloods, specimens, medical records, SPD items, etc.
Adheres to hospital infection control policies regarding cleaning departmental equipment (wheelchairs & stretchers).
Qualifications:
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Able to read, write and speak English
Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position and its location.
Able to push wheelchairs and stretchers. Able to push 200 to 300 lbs.
Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and walking.
