Chief Financial Officer – IPA Segment Prospect Medical Systems Scope: IPA and MSO Operations CA, TX, RI Seated: Orange, California/ REMOTE JOB SUMMARY: Under the administrative direction of the IPA Segment Chief Executive Officer and Corporate CFO, the IPA Segment CFO is responsible for the oversight of financial operations for all owned and managed Independent Physician Associations, physician group entities and clinics. This role is an interactive role with responsibility over finance, purchasing and operations. The candidate will have experience in Global HMO risk management (professional and institutional risk), maximizing HMO revenue, HCC and quality scores while managing medical costs and operating expenses. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee general accounting, budgeting and forecasting, decision support and purchasing functions.
- Oversee performance programs to maximize revenue through HCC, RAF and Quality scores.
- Accurate timely financial reporting & the safeguarding of assets.
- Participates as a member of executive management in the planning & execution of strategic & tactical initiatives.
- Review and approves all HMO, Provider and vendor contracts.
- Maintains the records of the company in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and prepares pro-forma. financial reports for the Chief Executive Officer, Corporate CFO, Governing Board and other members of management.
- Communicates the financial performance of the organization to the management team.
- Ensure that all regulatory filings (Health Plan, State Regulators) are completed and filed timely.
- Communicates with health plan and outside resources regarding changes that will have a financial impact.
- Communicates contribution of the segment to the overall organization.
