Interacts with nursing management, staff and public in an efficient and courteous manner.
Ensures confidentiality of allstaffing office functions and information.
Maintains working knowledge of the computer systems used by staffing.
Inputs required data into the staffing office computer systems.
Ensures proper data collection of patient acuities.
Interprets staffing requirements to assist managers/supervisors with proper staffing of all units.
Provides nursing personnel on a shift to shift basis according to unit requirements.
Assign nursing staff to units according to qualifications and personnel policies.
Assure verification systems regarding daily staffing are followed.
Utilizes outside agencies, striving to decrease their usage.
Maintains up to date information in computer personnel file to include nursing licenses and qualifications and other required data.
Maintains verification of licensure and CPR on outside personnel.
Assures evaluations on each individual from an outside agency are completed on their first visit and annually thereafter.
Verifies all registry transactions and maintains accurate records.
Assure all reports required of the staffing office are produced and distributed at times required.
Compiles and maintains statistical data required by staffing office.
Maintains all nursing office files in a current, up to date manner.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum Experience: Recent acute care experience preferred.
Preferred Skills and Abilities: Computer experience preferred.
