You will:

• Empower, adopt, and engage the workforce while leading the delivery of exemplary Nursing Care in accordance with the mission, vision, value and goals of MSK.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards; promote patient safety and innovation.
• Collaborate with physician and administrative colleagues to implement all operational aspects of high quality patient care delivery in our Peri-anesthesia and Diagnostic Imaging units.
• Provide cross coverage to acute care, IR, and other ambulatory services at the Koch Center.
• Supervise Registered Nurses, and nursing support staff, as well as management of Human Resource issues, including hiring, transfers, terminations, corrective action, on-boarding, training and development.
• Will play a pivotal role in providing transformational leadership by building and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice and patient safety.

You have:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing with matriculation in a MSN program required. (MSN highly preferred)
• Related nursing certification required
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license and registration
• A minimum of 5 years recent, related clinical experience
• Proven leadership and superior communication skills are crucial

Hours: Monday-Friday with flexible hours between 7am-7pm
