This position is located in the Specialty Medicine Service Line at the Sioux Falls VA Healthcare System and reports directly to the Chief of Specialty Medicine. Physician provides consultation services and follow up of medical subspecialty patients. Physician should have expertise in Gastroenterology and be able to treat and manage patients who have illnesses related to General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
