Join the Kingdom Internal Medicine (KIM) team at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) as a Medical Office Secretary. With 5 providers, a behavioral health specialist, and a pharmacist who attend to 30 to 50 patients daily, we are seeking a flexible, multitasking individual with a customer service focus. As a team player, you will perform a range of general and specialized clerical tasks to support the smooth operation of our practice. These tasks include answering calls, managing patient appointments, handling referrals, maintaining medical records, data entry, and managing patient flow. Experience with electronic medical records is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with patients in person and over the phone during their visits.

Coordinate patient care by performing necessary tasks.

Maintain schedules, book and cancel appointments, and ensure accurate demographic and insurance information for patients.
