Indiana University Health Medical Group Department of Neurology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialized care for patients with movement disorders in a neurology practice, with focus on conditions including Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, Huntington’s disease and related neurological disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-time, Dayshift - Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm
No night or weekend call
Position is 100% Outpatient, practicing at Goodman Hall
Provide ongoing follow-up care and disease management for established patients with movement disorders
Adjust and optimize medication regimens based on patient response and disease progression
Participate in deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming and management for patients with Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor
Deliver patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and disease management strategies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and other specialist
Engage in continuing education in neurology and movement disorders
Qualifications:
ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certification required
Neurology and/or clinical trial research experience is preferred
