We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy and collegial Gastroenterology team in Bloomington, IN!
Job Description:
- Full-Time, Day Shift
- 7a-5p Monday-Friday
- If Rotating schedule
- 4-10-hour days- 1 day off/week, rotate 2 inpatient weeks covering 5 days/week, post inpatient week
- Call Schedule
- optional for additional pay
- 1st night call hours 5p-7am
- 85% outpatient, 15% inpatient
- Join a team of 7 physicians and 7APPs
- Care for adult patients (18+) with acute and chronic GI diseases
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent patient care in the GI setting on outpatient and inpatient setting while maintaining the IU Health Values Purpose, Compassion Excellence and Team
Qualifications:
- Must be board certified or board eligible
- FNP or PA certification required
- Master's degree required
- 2-3 years preferred, but will train new grad
- Multiple years of GI experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- New Grad, strong interest in GI and willingness to work towards becoming proficient in the specialty
