We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy and collegial Gastroenterology team in Bloomington, IN!
Job Description:
Full-Time, Day Shift
7a-5p Monday-Friday
If Rotating schedule
4-10-hour days- 1 day off/week, rotate 2 inpatient weeks covering 5 days/week, post inpatient week
Call Schedule
optional for additional pay
1st night call hours 5p-7am
85% outpatient, 15% inpatient
Join a team of 7 physicians and 7APPs
Care for adult patients (18+) with acute and chronic GI diseases
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent patient care in the GI setting on outpatient and inpatient setting while maintaining the IU Health Values Purpose, Compassion Excellence and Team
Qualifications:
Must be board certified or board eligible
FNP or PA certification required
Master's degree required
2-3 years preferred, but will train new grad
Multiple years of GI experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
New Grad, strong interest in GI and willingness to work towards becoming proficient in the specialty
